3 Powerful and Time-Tested Tactics For Driving Traffic

Joint Ventures

An extremely efficient technique is to create a Joint Venture with another marketer. The goal of this partnership is to build each other's mailing lists. Find partners who are at your level of success in your business or niche. If you are working hard towards your first thousand members, don't chase someone with 70,000. It won't work! The easier you make it to joint venture with you through incentives, giveaways, and win-win situations, the more joint venture relationships you will develop. Take care of your partners and they'll take care of you - for years to come.

Blog Posting

It's the easiest thing to set on the shelf; The care and feeding of your blogs. Notice I used the plural - blogs. Not blog. You need multiple blogs these days. And especially if they are in a related niche, don't wreck your chances by shoving them all aboard the same server! Spread them out, so they can properly "talk" to each other. If you are like most marketers, you'll soon forget to post to them, and weeks will pass. Then months. Don't let that happen! The best method for avoiding this is the secret weapon of many, many multiple blog owners: the auto-poster. This little gem drips posts on blogs in a natural manner as if, like clockwork, you realize it's been 2 or 3 days since you posted, and you go post. However, you aren't. The auto-poster does it for you! For months, you can casually drop by your blog to check on comments or tweak your monetization and linking strategies without having to worry about adding any new content. You set it all up in advance. Of course, if there's a major war or something, by all means, go talk about it! Just make sure the auto-poster is there to catch you when your other activities cause you to stray for awhile.

Forum Posting

Unlike blog posting, which is much easier to set up in advance, forum posting requires two things that few other techniques do: consistent posts and true interaction with other humans. Surprise! You actually have to respond to someone else's question. Imagine that! The better you get at this, the more likely you are to have traffic showing up, looking at what else you have to offer on your site or sites you include in your forum signature. so get cracking, develop a bit of cyber-diplomacy, beef up your writing skills in your chosen niche, and turn up your posting volume!

There are many, many more techniques for driving traffic, but these 3 powerful tactics will take you a long way toards regular daily unique hits on whatever site you are targeting.
