Adobe Flash Drawing Tip Adobe Flash Design Tip of the Week: Want to give your drawing a heavy outer outline while leaving your other lines thin? Copy your drawing onto a second layer, Color it solid black (or whatever color you choose for your outline). Then Modify > Shape > Convert lines to fills on the black layer. That gets rid of all the strokes in there that will make a mess of things. Are they gone? Good. Now Modify > Shape > Expand Fill. This is where you determine how thick of an outline you need. If you don't get it exactly right the first time you can Expand Fill as many times as you need. Sometimes it may be necessary to soften your edges beforehand or your fill might have an unpredictable result. You can do this by clicking the fill and then clicking the little squiggly shape in your tool bar.
