For the past five months, I have been working on a non-profit organization to establish programs that will help teens that don't quite meet the 4.0 criteria obtain scholarships. This organization will also help eliminate debt and teach families how to live within their God given means. The second part of the non-profit organization for debt elimination, mirrors a program that Pastor Ced started at his church. The entire concept of the elimination is to clear up outstanding bills for families and help them realize their financial errors. I have gone through this understanding in the past six months while developing this non-profit.
Day by day, since mid October, I had been going down hill with my finances. There were business choices I made that were not in season with the plan the Lord had for me. I literally became broke and dependent on faith and time to get me out. Negative balances, late payments etc were my downfall.
Well, I prayed and asked for forgiveness for not being a good steward over my finances, and for HIM to help me see the error of my ways. When you are honest and tell the truth, the doors of heaven start to open.
God gave me a visualization of how to move forward in my businesses and non-profit. I had to see it the way HE wanted me to see it and get it all together.
At this point, I have been hired to plan a book signing event here in Milwaukee. I have been "hired" as the event planning and travel services specialist for WEA, Inc., and I am working on building my clientele for wedding planning.
It takes someone who has been through to understand where they are wrong at; I discovered that in the middle of my storm. Now that the storm has turned into a drizzle, I am listening better.
