Anti Aging Skin Products - Begin at an Early Age!
I have found that if you will start teaching your children about taking care of their skin at an early age, even pre-teen, they will adhere to those habits for the rest of their lives. The focus on anti-aging skin care is such a huge industry, why not begin that journey with your children, teaching them about what happens as they age. Their skin is obviously not showing age yet, but it will eventually if you don't teach them how to protect it and prevent damage now. At 11 and 12 years of age, I have already invested in good quality skin care products for my children. Even though they aren't experiencing skin problems, acne, and so forth, they need to get into the regular habit of cleaning their skin. Obviously, at this age, they are going to be somewhat inconsistent with their cleaning regimen, but as soon as their first acne blemish comes up on their skin, they will be using those products more regularly. What child wants to go through the embarassing problem of acne through their teen years when hormones are at an all time high? Getting them into the habit of cleaning their skin early on will make it much easier for them to transition into anti-aging skin products at a later date when their skin begins to need more attention. When they are in their late 30's with great looking skin and few signs of aging, they will appreciate having used great quality products and great habits of cleaning!! I also believe that teaching them about sun protection early on will help keep their skin looking its best for much longer. Just as we teach prevention and protection in the medical field, it applies to the anti-aging skin care field as well. If you take good care of your skin on a regular basis as you age, your skin will thank you for it, by not showing the signs of aging as quickly. Use a sun protection product with at least an SPF of 15 or higher under your makeup daily. Wear hats, sunscreen, clothing that covers the body, use umbrellas to shield your body from the sun, whatever it takes to protect the skin. 90% of aging is related to sun damage! Only 10% is hereditary. So, knowing this information, it only makes sense to use some sort of protection when you are out in the sun. Teaching your children early on to take care of their skin, as well as, using sunscreen daily are two great ways to prevent and prolong the aging process. If you need some great skin care or sun protection products, please check out my website, www.jerikazlow.myarbonne.com, where you can learn about some awesome products to use on a daily basis. But more than that, teach your kids to take care of their skin. They will thank you for it later!
