Australian Lamb Chops Recipe
Australian Lamb Chops This secret recipe for Australian Lamb Chops is perfect for BBQ where you want to show off your cooking skills. Serves - 6 Cook time - 7 to 17 mins Prep time - 35 mins 12 lamb loin chops, cut 1 inch thick and trimmed (about 1.5Kg) 6 slices pineapple, about 1cm thick 2 tablespoons currant jam 1 tablespoon dry mustard 2 teaspoons Worcester sauce 2 tablespoons tomato sauce 2 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons honey 1. First you will need to make the marinade by adding the jam, sauces, honey, mustard in a bowl and mixing together. 2. Put the lamb chops in a resealable plastic bag, pour in the marinade and make sure they are evenly coated. Place the bag in a refrigerator for at least 30mins, but better overnight. 3. Remove the lamb from the bag and discard the marinade. 4. Place the lamb and pineapple slices on the centre of the BBQ grill to cook. The pineapple rings take about 5 mins+ or until grill line appear. The lamb chops take between 7 and 17 mins, depending on how well done you prefer. Always make sure any meat is thoroughly cooked before serving. 5. Serve the lamb chops with the pineapple rings.
