Be Sneaky with your Business Cards
I don't mean you should put anything deceptive on your business cards, that's just wrong. By being sneaky I mean leaving your business cards (or brochures, etc) everywhere, including in unconventional places. These are a few things you can do when you're out running errands. Libraries - If you are browsing through books at the library or when returning them leave a business card inside as a bookmark. Restaurants - Leave your card with the tip. Waiting Rooms - At the doctor, dentist, etc. leave a few cards among the magazines. Bulletin Boards - Okay, this one isn't sneaky, if there is a bulletin board at any public place for posting announcements, pin up a few of your cards. Gumball Machines - Slip a quarter in, turn the handle part way, and leave your card with a message to turn the handle. Kids get a kick out of it. This is best for businesses that cater to kids or moms. Overall be creative! Promoting a small business is work but try to make it fun. |

I LOVE the idea about putting a quarter in a gumball machine with a note on your card to turn the handle. I'll bet the lucky kid loves it, too. Great idea!  Act on your dream! JD
