Best restaurant on the Planet I was recently in Melbourne (Australia) for a long weekend and happened across an extremely cool restaurant called "Longrain" - up the top of Little Bourke Street, just about where Chinatown finishes. What an extraordinary meal. These guys are absolute masters at modern Thai influenced food. I believe there is a Longrain in Sydney as well - so if you ever get the chance to eat at a Longrain - do not hesitate, go in, wait for table if need be (they don't take bookings) - you will not be disappointed !!! You can try & reproduce some of "Martin Boetz's gorgeous modern Thai food" by getting hold of one of his many cookbooks as well.
