Congress Needs To Pay Off Federal Debt!
The burden of debt We are in a $53 trillion fiscal hole. And Beltway politicians seem to be ignoring that it's growing $2-3 trillion deeper each year. The burden of the debt for every American citizen is $175,000 and growing every day. In an age where more and more Americans are carrying massive personal debt, we are borrowing on our future dangerously. Congress should be setting an example for how to get out of debt. But the path we're on leads to schools closing, the loss of emergency services and cuts to health care that millions of Americans rely on. These programs are vital for future generations. From an outdated tax system to a overly complex health care program, the United States is facing a major battle to stop the slide into more debt. But ignoring the problem will not make it go away! Check out these resource references for more informative insight: 1)Just who owns the U.S. national debt? 2)Federal Government Debt Report Washington must set an example of fiscal responsibility for all Americans. Please view Video and please tell Congress to stop the spiraling debt: http://go.care2.com/e/6_FD/vTFQ/AlVvl

Contributor's Note
Comments: I am not asking to cut essential services, but borrowing against our future is wrong and I don't agree with borrowing from China to finance the war in Iraq. Let's begin to develop fiscal responsibility.
