DOUA - Disabled Online Users Association
DOUA or the Disabled Online Users Association is a non-profit group on the internet. It provides information on how to work on the internet and support for people with disabilities, chronic illnesses and mental health issues. Most of the information on DOUA centers on eBay. There are tutorials and a library of information. Some newer information is about affiliate websites and blogging. There's also a list of websites that help and support its members. The training site is not open to the public, only to people who have registered with the site as students or volunteers. You can visit the website though to learn more about the group, to learn how you can help, to contribute money or supplies, to become a member and to view members' listings on eBay. DOUA's training center also offers support to its members who often times have health related issues, feel down about things that are going on in their real lives or business endeavors. Many members are isolated and lonely and looking for something to do to gain some confidence. If you buy on eBay, you can add the letters DOUA to your search. You'll see some of the members listings that way. Check out this non-profit group and see if you can volunteer or donate to help this group continue to thrive. |
