The latest series of almost forgotten but still sellable celebrities converting themselves to become politicians and join the fray that is Indonesia's general election brouhahaha makes me think of one thing: The Drama is Reaching its second act and the scriptwriters are on the par with the writers low quality comics made by Indonesian so called "self made comic creators" or blog-turned-into-radio-show or disgusting movies made for the low-tuned brains of indonesian youths.
In short: those pretenders sicken me.
In an essentially a subconscious proclamation of self-doubts and admittance to failures, the political parties recruit sellout and worn out celebrities in hope that people who recognize them will vote for them.
Self doubt because those self-called "voices of the people" are not sure themselves that their achievements -- which mainly bloating their own swiss accounts and impregnating women -- will do them good in the upcoming selection. Admittance of failures because by recruiting those has-been, they acknowledge it to themselves that they have failed to polish the already existing and veteran politicians.
For the narcotic imbibibing band of black holes, becoming politicians is just another act that will channel the wealths syphoned from the national budgets. They are, in essence, characters who have been so often played other characters (dismally, I should say) that becoming a generic lies hawker is no hard chore. They may even enjoy it, cause they don't have to do their acts repeatedly until the budget ran out or the directors give up.
It sickens me to know that after democracy, we only have anarchy left and those whackjobs perhaps are the catalyst for the next cycle of anarchy, monarchy, dictatorship, revolution, and....faux democration.
Happy Night!
