Everybody can do with more traffic to their webpage so here’s 6 easy and fast ways to drive more interested buyers to your capture page: 1. Issue press releases about your online business. Make sure to highlight something different or unusual about what you’re offering.
2. Search out websites in related areas to yours and leave a comment with a link to your site. Blogs are and excellent place to do this. Be sure to make your comment positive and relevant to the host site. Give first and receive later!
3. Write articles and submit them to directories. Always include a link to your site in the authors resource box. Ezinearticles.com, articledashboard.com are two of the bigger ones but there are lots of others. If you have your own blog (and you definitely should) edit the text slightly for originality, then add the new article to your blog with the link in your resource paragraph at the end.
4. Here’s one a lot of people don’t do. Register your articles with web directories. Search engines love directories so getting your site listed can be a great way to drive free traffic to your page. DMOZ and Librarians Internet Index are the standards but it will take a long time to get your website on them. A quicker way if you’re willing to pay is to register with the Yahoo Directory (an excellent choice!). Another paid directory is Best of the Web. I suggest doing a Google for directories related to your business of choice and get listed on them too! The more, the better.
5. Take part in blogs, groups, forums and social networks that cover your area of business. Add comments and posts to other websites (preferably with links back to your site). Become recognized as an authority in your specific area. Let me emphasize, you do not have to be an expert but showing some leadership will attract others to you who are looking for what you’ve got.
6. Using classified sites to promote your product. Ads on Craigslist, Buy and Sell, and eBay Classified can be effective ways to promote your site. Check out what others are doing and copy it for yourself.
