Easy Chocolate Butterscotch Refrigerator Pie
Ingredients: 1 (4 serving) package instant, butterscotch pudding mix 2 cups milk (or what ever the package directions call for) 1 (6 oz.) chocolate piecrust 1 (4 serving) package instant, chocolate pudding mix 2 cups milk (or what ever the package directions call for) 1 cup whipped topping 2 tablespoons chopped pecans or almonds 1 tablespoon mini-chocolate chips Step-By-Step Instructions: In a medium bowl, combine dry butterscotch pudding mix and milk. Mix well with a wire whisk. Pour mixture into piecrust. In a medium bowl, combine dry chocolate pudding mix and milk. Mix well with a wire whisk. Pour mixture over butterscotch layer. Refrigerate about 15 - 20 minutes Before serving, spread the whipped topping over chocolate layer. Sprinkle chopped pecans and mini-chocolate chips over top. Refrigerate until ready to serve. . . . . . . . . . . . For a low calorie, low fat, low salt alternative. . . substitute the following: sugar-free, instant, butterscotch pudding mix 2/3 cup nonfat dry milk powder + 1 ¼ cup water sugar-free, instant, chocolate pudding mix 2/3 cup nonfat dry milk powder + 1 ¼ cup water lite whipped topping
