Effective Natural Acne Healing Treatment My mother’s neighbor, Marta, suggested that I use Aloe Vera for the treatment of my acne. Marta is originally from Nicaragua and grows the aloe plant in her backyard. She cut off some of the leaves from the aloe plant and handed them to me. She told me to cut off the outer, thick layer and spread the inner gel on my face every morning and night. I did as she said and I went over to her house about four times a week to cut off a new leaf of the aloe plant. Soon I began to notice a reduction in redness and inflammation associated with acne. Although it did not completely cure the acne, I believe the aloe was beneficial to my skin. This alternate use of aloe vera can be extremely useful for adolescents and adults all over the world who are suffering from acne or other diseases of the skin that may cause inflammation or redness. Other uses can include psoriasis, burns, and wounds. More and more grocery stores are now carrying this effective healing plant in their produce department.
