Over the years there have been many cries of help because of poverty in 3rd world countries always relating to needing money for even just the simple things in life, yet on the flip side, the American government are selling off enormous amounts of surplus hardware and clothing to the highest bidders in ebay like auctions. For example:
AMERICAN defence chiefs are selling millions of dollars worth of military hardware from Iraq and Afghanistan to the highest bidder over the internet.
Millions of dollars of equipment and clothing were auctioned off and none of the money generated from this mass suprlus sale ever reached charity organisations that help the homeless and starving children in third world countries.
Here's a small list of the type of hardware that can be bought and sold to anyone with enough money:

$20 million. each!

$38 million. each!

The sale of just a few of the obsolete planes could go a long way to resolving many of the larger issues that 3rd world countries face on a daily basis, starving and sick children. Homeless families with no food or drinking water supplies.
These things most of us simply take for granted and don't even consider a problem, however if every time you turn on a tap and fill your cup with clean clear running water, spare a thought for the millions of people who don't even have a clean cup!
I'm getting really sick of seeing adverts on TV depicting the stories of these starving families and children sick with worms and whatever other avoidable illnesses they have because there are countries like the US that are mass piling money simply re-inject it into new military hardware, WEAPONS!.
Here's another reason why the US is wasting money
The US military ordered another 277 planes, at a cost of about $260m (£142m) each, that's another $72 Billion spent. The 'Raptor' was designed to fight a potential Soviet enemy threat that no longer even exists, and a Third World War, if it were ever to happen!
