Having a backyard garden is starting to be fun and we are really looking forward to what we learn this year. I spend a lot of time watching shows that teach how to grow things in your backyard garden and sometimes they don't grow things in ground.
Well they grow thing in ground, just not in THE ground.
My wife and I usually watch 'Jamie at Home' on the Food network during our Sunday lunch. He is just like a big kid with a heart to match. Jamie always entertains us and we learn a lot, not just about cooking, but about his backyard garden.
Well this past Sunday he had one of his buddies showing him how he uses pot to grow potatoes in and it worked great.
Another thing they did was to cut slits into a back of soil and just stick the potatoes in the sides of the bag.
Doing this works like a charm but the point was stress that you really have to watch that your pots don't dry out, so keep a close watch on them and be sure to water them as needed.
