Article marketing is a very decisive marketing technique that will bring in tons of visitors if performed correctly. The first task in article marketing is to put keywords inside your main content. If you can bold them that would be even better but if they must remain in plain text, so be it. Search engines will pick up on the keywords that you use in the content and it makes it easier for the search engine to place you in a keyword. The next task is to actually write the article itself. You don't have to be an amazing god writer in order to get good content that the municipal will read. I write all my articles in Microsoft Word 2007 and then just copy and paste them into the editor of which the article directory uses.
On the note of article directories, submit each article to a minimum of 10 article directories. Most will have to approve the articles so don't go around posting random content in your articles because they will most likely ban you.
Now that we have all of our articles written, it's time to submit them. I submit mine to Ezinearticle.com first but it really doesn't matter who you use. I'd suggest using Ezinearticle.com, articlecube.com, etc.
When you submit your articles, they'll give you what's known as a resource box. This allows you to put in the name of your web site with descriptive keywords so you can get some backlinks going on. This is the whole reason why I even article market is to get links.
That's pretty much it; you also will probably want to stumble your articles with stumble upon so you can get your articles going pretty fast. Social book marking is another key tool in which you'll need to use.
