I suppose you have noticed that the gas prices are going whacky! It is a fortunate thing that I bought a hybrid car just before they started heading upward. I had been considering it for some time and thought it is a good idea to go green and save money at the same time. I had done all my research about price and type and personal preference and decided that I wanted to buy a Honda (After all, I had had 5 other Hondas over time and they have served me well)
I knew that I would have a good tax refund and I decided that the time had come when Honda offered special interest rates on loans, so off I went and got exactly the color and model of (the Civic Hybrid, ice blue) that I wanted. Of course I didn't believe the hype that it would get 50 mpg, but the 42 mpg I Am getting is not too shabby.
I have had my Honda for a year now and in that time you know what has happened to the gas prices. I can only imagine what I would have spent on gas if I had my old car. Of course a car payment is money I have to spend, but at least I have a new car that I won't have to worry about for some time. (I have kept Hondas for up to 170,000 miles before I sold them)
Hondas, of course aren't the only hybrids. Toyota has a very good one in the Prius. I drove one as a rental car on a recent trip and liked it. The fact is, I Like hybrids And they help cut gas which is good for the pocketbook And the environment.
This is why I decided to start this website for the sale of Hybrid Cars. A number of different makes and models of hybrids are available. Check out the site and see if you can't find something that interests you. You may end up being as happy as I am with a new or used hybrid car.
