International Brain Awareness Week Looking for an interesting family activity? Take a look at the Brain. You can investigate what the brain looks like, the various regions of the brain and what each region does. You can do various activities that use your brain - puzzles, brain teasers. Join folks around the globe take a look at and celebrate the brain during Brain Awareness week. In 2008, March 10 - March 16 has been identified as Brain Awareness Week. Recognizing this week is an international effort that has been put together by the Dana Foundation. A part of the foundation focuses on working to increase the general public's knowledge and awareness of the advances that have been made in brain research. The Dana Alliance is not alone in promoting this week, many partners including medical, research and educational groups join in sharing information and promoting Brain awareness this week. Get informed of the advances that have been made, the research that is going on abd the benefits of current and ongoing research efforts. Check your calendars for 2009, Brain awareness week will be celebrated March 16-22, 2009.
