It's not about me......it's about the familes

Developing programs for a non-profit organization is not always easy. You have to create a program that fits what is going on in the communities as well as creating something new.

I have jumped into something that is not new, but it will be beneficial with the plan that I have to implement it. This 1st program with my non-profit organization is about getting families out of debt. Yes, it is not new. Some of these families have probably done this to themselves, but some of them cannot help where they are. It is our responsibility as a whole to help families/indivuals, to get out of debt and show them how to stay out of debt.

These progarms are not about giving them books and articles to read, it's about giving them direction. When we were in high school, obtaining our general education, we were given directions on how to work things out and get good grades. If we applied them correctly, the outcome was beneficial for everyone; the teacher and the student.

Families that are in serious debt are the students and we as a community are teachers. It only takes one to look at the circumstances a little differently than the average banker or credit card company. It's going to take more than the friend with $20 here and there to help eliminate financial stress.

My point here is, while I am the founder of this organization and CEO, it's not about me and what I can do, it is about the families that I intend to help.

I have a long way to go as I get started. I have profiles of two families that are in dire need. I have my work cut out for me.
