Knowledge is Beautiful
How beauty begins with knowledge What makes me feel Beautiful and Confident? Knowledge, you know the saying, if I only knew then what I know now. I'm now over the age of 40 and we all know that 40 is the new 30. Do you want to know why, because we are knowledgeable! So what would I have done back then, knowing what I know now? Back then I would have dressed to what looked great on me and not on other people. I would have spent more time paying attention to the hair dressers and their techniques. I would have exercised more and ate much less junk food. I would have used quality makeup and not the cheap stuff. I would have had my eyebrows done, kept my nails long and healthy. I would have thought more before I spoke and paid more attention to those speaking to me. I would have expressed my love for others more often and in any way possible. I would have loved myself so much more. Maybe trials and pitfalls, desires and desperation have gotten me to the place I am now. Being told your 12 year old son's headaches are because of a brain tumor and then watching him fight and win over the cancer, having chosen marriage and raising kids over my own career dreams and now just starting to relive those dreams and succeeding. I feel so much more aware and proud of myself. I'm focusing more on enjoying each day instead of living for the future. So here we are in the now, with so much more medical and technical advancements in the beauty and health field. What can we do now in foresight so there are no regrets...? First of all, choose a Personal Trainer as your first choice, study and keep up on exceptionally progressive research through your doctor's office and trusted friends. Research 'holistic' mind/body/lifestyle for optimum health. Stress kills - more than your looks, it kills your body and mind. Then at last resort, minimal surgery only if needed. Let's say you want to go from an A cup to a C cup. OK, if possible wait until after you are married and have had children. If you don't want to wait that long, research the best surgeons out there, talk to those trusted friends again then just make sure you are doing this for yourself. This is not for your boyfriend or husband, not your social life or career. The reason you choose cosmetic surgery is very important and very personal. In most cases, danger and harm lies more in the reason you choose the cosmetic surgery rather than in the surgery itself. Growing up, my teeth never fully "dropped" so I always had a gummy smile. I accepted it and adjusted my smile in public. I still made wonderful friends, married a wonderful man and managed a successful career as an actress. Just recently I found out that they have the means to reduce my gums and show more of my teeth. For the first time in a very long time, I can smile the biggest smile without worry and feeling awkward. Thanks to revolutionary technology. So, I give this advice to all women. Go ahead and take advantage of ALL the new products and techniques out there. Just do your research, be honest with your motives and then enjoy the now. Oh, and make sure you schedule a session with a Professional Modeling Photographer and let them bring out the sexy and beautiful person in you. We ALL have it. In my career, fellow actors and actresses have two motto's, "Embrace the sucking"! There will be bad days when you feel horrible and uglyacknowledge that this is temporary and learn from it, maybe you over ate or didn't exercise that day. "If you can't feel it, they can't see it"! Feel the beauty in you. Believe in your heart how lovely your sun kissed freckles are or the lines of experience are on your face. How sexy are you in that toned full figure body! Be so much more aware of yourself. Knowledge is Beautiful! |

Throughly enjoying one of my photo shoots.
