Lakeside shopping centre in Thurrock, Essex is a huge shopping mall. It has three floors with a variety of shops. What is on Offer?
On the top floor there are lots of varied eating places from Chinese to burger king and all kinds of coffee shops.
On the second and first floor there are many shops such as W.H. Smiths (book store), Debenhams (multi store), Next (ladies and mens clothes), Top Shop (ladies wear), Top Man (mens), B.H.S. (multi-store) , Marks and Spencers (multi-store), the Body Shop, Woolworths, JD Sports, HMV (music and dvd store), Dorothy Perkins and many more.
There is also a Cinema complex below the ground floor and restaurants, pubs along with a market. There are many clothes stores on the ground floor too including Principles (ladies wear), Sports shops, Boots, Debenhams and the West Ham Football Team shop.

What Goes On?
On some occasions there has been entertainment on the ground floor, such as shows and competitions. The Christmas tree is on this floor and it is tall reaching all the way up to the third floor. Santa's grotto is at the bottom of it. Many families cue here to see Father Christmas. It is the most crowded spot during this season. When I lived in England, I used to shop here all the time, but now I go back whenever I am in the country on holiday.
It is now against the law to smoke inside Lakeside shopping mall.
There is a free service for hiring out mobility scooters and wheelchairs plus we have just re-designed our shopmobility office to include a fantastic reception area. It is conveniently located within Car Park 10 on Level 1and close to Debenhams for easy access into the centre. Visitors with limited mobility can also choose from many ordinary and electric wheelchairs and scooters, giving them the freedom to get around the centre. Scooters and wheelchairs can be pre-booked on.

A trip to lakeside at Christmas will help you to find the presents that you are looking for, so if you are in the area, stop and go inside. You will be amazed and glorified to walk around lakeside if you love shopping.
