Have you ever known the true love?
I'm not talking about "omg, I love him so much, why doesn't he feel it too?!" love, or "We've been married for 40 years, of course I love her" love. I am talking about The kind that releases an almost audible click in space, like when two magnets "click" together?
I am talking about love that transcends lifetimes...and flows from the very core of your being. It only comes, I believe once in a lifetime, and only some people are privledged enough to experience it.
Ok, you know you have it when:
1. all time and space seems to stop when you look into each other's eyes.
2. You experience an emotion that you can't tell apart from the deepest sorrow to the highest joy, it is so strong.
3. you could be right next to the person basking in their energy, or he could be in Prague staring at the same moon as you... the love never dwindles, never wanes, and when you are apart, you still feel the One-ness.
4. and you could be separated by months, years, and when you return to each other's arms at last... it's like you never were apart. And if you are lucky, life puts you in the right place at the right time, so that when you find this person, and ultimate love, you can have the option of being their life partner too.
I have had this love. I am one of the few who was given this ultimate gift.
And, what if you have this love, but your life doesn't physically include that other person?
This is what I don't understand... it's there, it will always be, but it's not.
This is what I think Charles and Camilla knew they had. But life kept them at a distance that must have been so incredibly hard to bear.
So, I say to you.... if you get there, and you have no other obligations... DO NOT WASTE time... time is precious. BE together, enjoy it and be grateful, and happy, and thankful every single moment of every waking day that you too have been given this ultimate gift to experience the deepest, soul-mingling love.
I also say to you... Life is Very short. If you come to experience the mutual knowing that this Love is in front of you, do not let it pass. Take it, without hurting those around you, to the extent that you can, embrace it and embed it deep within you. You will carry it with you always, and it will be a part of your soul to take on to your next life to try again!
Tracy Chapman wrote a song, called "The Promise", which only begins to touch on this kind of love:
If you wait for me then I'll come for you
Although I've traveled far
I always hold a place for you in my heart
If you think of me If you miss me once in awhile
Then I'll return to you
I'll return and fill that space in your heart
Remembering
Your touch
Your kiss
Your warm embrace
I'll find my way back to you
If you'll be waiting
If you dream of me like I dream of you
In a place that's warm and dark
In a place where I can feel the beating of your heart
Remembering
Your touch
Your kiss
Your warm embrace
I'll find my way back to you
If you'll be waiting
I've longed for you and I have desired
To see your face your smile
To be with you wherever you are
Remembering
Your touch
Your kiss
Your warm embrace
I'll find my way back to you
If you'll be waiting
I've longed for you and I have desired
To see your face, your smile
To be with you wherever you are
Remembering
Your touch
Your kiss
Your warm embrace
I'll find my way back to you
Please say you'll be waiting
Together again
It would feel so good to be
In your arms
Where all my journeys end
If you can make a promise If it's one that you can keep, I vow to come for you
If you wait for me and say you'll hold
A place for me in your heart.

I am not regretful of any choices in my life. I chose to add this facet, to not let it go by without experiencing it. I will never be the same, and I will always have that with me.
Take everything good that life has to offer you, live every day like it is your last and make the most of it.
