This is surely an exciting news for all the Mac users and fanatics out there. Last Tuesday, Macintosh announced that a new line of MacBook Pros is now out in the market for all types of consumers. This was originally slated to be introduced last month. Now, the new MacBook Pro line of laptops makes use of Intel Core Duo 2 Penryn processors where these already provide support for DDR3 SDRAM and are typically used in computer notebooks as well as outher mobile devices. At the same time, the new MacBook Pro included the Multi-Touch trackpad that was first introduced when the MacBook Air debuted in the market. Other than the powerful processor that is built inside the MacBook Pro, it also has much, much larger hard disk drives and the entry level MacBook product comes with a 2GB RAM for its memory.
What is good about MacBook Pro is that it is light as it is only almost 5.5 pounds, which is ideal for executives who are frequently on the road. This way, they can still keep track of their business and keep in touch anywhere, especially since it is built with a wireless LAN card. Another good thing about the MacBook Pro is that it is equipped with a Multi-touch pad that allows you to do all sorts of things such as magnifying text, accessing photos and configuring images. Another amazing thing about the new MacBook Pro is that its power cord is connected to the laptop magnetically, which means that if you happen to step on the cord accidentally, the laptop would not come flying through the air. The power cord just disconnects so, there would be no damage on both the cord as well as the laptop.
You can also plug in any external device to a MacBook Pro such as an external hard disk drive or a DVD writer as it has 3 available USB ports.
Though there were some improvements made on the MacBook Pro that Mac fans would surely love, it would not be hard for current Mac users to adapt to it, especially since they are already oriented on the hardware as well as with the software applications that come with the MacBook Pro.
In fact, Ars Technica’s Infinite Loop praises the new MacBook Pro for its spacious hard disk drive, which is 80GB in size, a lightning speed processor and the new touchpad. It has claimed that the new MacBook Pro “is not bad at all in my book.”
