Make Money by Watching TV

It's pretty easy to guess what RewardTV is all about. Simply, watch television and be rewarded. Besides sweepstakes and contest entries, typical rewards include gift certificates at Quizno's or a BP Gas Card.

After you have created and verified an account, log on to select up to five shows you watched yesterday. Then you will be quizzed on each show. You are presented with a multiple choice quiz. For each question, there are four answers to choose from. For each show, there are 12 total questions. You get 100 points for answering a question correctly. That means a user can answer 60 questions daily and get 6,000 points for their correct answer.

Now let me explain points. For each quiz on a show, you get 100 points just for doing the quiz. If you get all the questions right, that is 1300 points per quiz. If you watched five shows so you can take five quizzes, 5 x 1300 = 6500 points. A $5 gift certificate is 150,000 points while a $10 gift certificate is 300,000 points. If you can make 6,500 points every day, it will take about 23 days to get a $5 gift certificate. That could buy you a free lunch every month just for a few minutes.

There are other ways to earn points. You can take a survey and earn 7,500 points. Right now, there are about 12 surveys on the site that offer this point value. 7,500 x 12 = 90,000 points. If you do all of these easy surveys, you only need to earn 60,000 more points to earn a $5 gift certificate. If you take the five daily television show quizzes to earn your daily 6,500 points, you will earn your first reward in less than ten days.

This website is profitable even for those that really don't watch much television in depth. For example, you get 100 points for each quiz you take. One of the questions on the quiz asks you whether you watched the program when it aired or whether you recorded it. This question gives you 100 points. That is a guaranteed 200 points per quiz. Since you can take five quizzes in a day, 200 x 5 =1,000 guaranteed points. There are eleven other questions per quiz that you can answer, and since there is only four choices per question, even if you don't have a clear memory of what happened on the show, you still have a chance to get points just by guessing. Those who guess will probably make 500 points per quiz, including the guaranteed points. 500 x 5 = 2,500 points just for guessing. Let's assume you have already done all the surveys to earn 90,000 points. You will get your first reward in 24 days.

Be warned that not all questions in a quiz are about the television show. Some of them are about the commercials that aired during the program, which is probably how this website makes money from advertisers. All things considered, RewardTV is still a decent way to earn a few rewards by spending only a few minutes each day.
