Male / Female Brain Differences
I came across a video by a Dr. Gary Smalley many years ago, that suggested that the male & female brains are truly & physically different, mainly in respect to the connections between the left & right halves. In women, the connection is very solid, & in the man, it is very severely damaged, by nature, in the womb. One side of the brain mostly deals with action, & the other is more about feelings. If this is true, it would explain why women feel so much more strongly about things than men. They feel almost everything they do, & men just do, for the most part. For example, a guy can shoot a bunny without thinking about the possibility of it having babies somewhere that might starve to death as a result, & women are more likely to feel such remorse. The 3-D perception is said to be drastically different as well, which could explain why women generally spend so much more time at stop signs, & don't drive Indy cars as much. Realizing this can help to resolve feelings of frustration, instead of women deeming men to be callous clods, & men deeming women to be such over-sensative twits. I can talk about past girlfriends without longing to have them back, but if a woman even thinks about an old beau, the feelings that she felt way back then can come streaming back. So she thinks that the guys must feel the same way, & gets insanely jealous if any other gal is even mentioned. I wrote songs, inspired by my high school sweetheart, with lyrics like, "My heart's still bleeding on that sidewalk, Where I last kissed you good-bye.", because it sounds better than, "I kind of wonder what you're up to, And let's do some lunch someday.", which is how I actually feel about her. |
