Mynamar's Cyclone: The End of the Junta?

Myanmar Cyclone May have Killed 100,000

Latest reports suggest that the terrible cyclone that has devastated the Mynamar delta may also be the end of the 42 year old military regime.

The world looks on in horror as the regime turns away air craft full of desperately required food and aid supplies. The junta are also refusing aide workers visas and have thrown some who were allowed in, out of the country.

To date the regime have told their people that external aid is not required because their own government will look after them. Now that this is becoming patently untrue - maybe - finally their will a ground swell uprising against one of the most repressive regimes left in the world.

The axis of evil was never in Iraq - it was always in Myanmar and the true callousness of the regime is now obvious to the world.
