New Markham Library Opening Soon The library in Markham, Illinois is almost complete and ready to open. Per the Library Director, Xavier Menzies, the Library opens in its new building on Tuesday, February 19, 2008. The move from the temporary library is complete, and the new books are arriving and being shelved in preparation for this opening. The newly built library is located at its previous location, 16640 S Kedzie Avenue, Markham, Illinois.
