New Zealand's genuine medal prospect at Beijing Games - Moss Burmeister...

Kiwi swimmer Moss Burmester has gold medalled his way into Olympic Games prominence after winning the 200 metre short course Butterfly at the World Championship in the UK in recent days.

Burmeister is a former Commonwealth games gold medalist and one of New Zealand's most prominent swimmers in recent years.

He must be New Zealand's biggest swimming medal chance since dual gold medalist Danyon Loader many years ago.

Danyon Loader claims Burmester has a great chance of taking out a medal, and Danyon knows what is entailed to get to that level. Moss Burmester is New Zealand's best performed swimmer since Danyon Loader.

Contributor's Note

A genuine chance for a Kiwi swimming medal.Gold would be fantastic!
