No iPhones Left!

After 2 of the biggest mobile phone companies in the UK, The Carphone Warehouse and O2, dropped the price of the 8GB iPhone by £100, sales have gone through the roof in what has been a phenominal increase in demand for this fantastic gadget.

According to different sites and statements etc. the iPhone is now believed to be completey sold out across the UK in all O2 and Carphone Warehouse stores, and the only company with stock left is Apple. However, Apple never reduced the price of the iPhone in their stores, so you will have to pay the full price of £269 for it if you want one.

The sudden increase in sales, due to the massive price drop, has began the spread of rumours that Apple maybe paving the way for a new and improved iPhone, possibly with 3G being one of the main new features. People have also spectualted that Apple may choose to increase the quality of the camera on the iPhone (currently 2megapixels) as other phones offer much better camera quality eg. the 5 Megapixel camera on the LG Viewty. Increased battery life is another new featue which has also been mentioned.

Athough Apple haven't relaesed any news of a new version of the iPhone, it is widely belied that it will be arriving somethime in June. This would explain the huge price drop in the current iPhones in order to deplete stocks and make room for the new version.

Which ever way you look at it, it now seems inevitable that a new iPhone is on the way. What new feature it will include is still unknown but the question on many people's lips is; how much will it cost?
People believe that as it is replacing the current 8GB iPhone, it will be the same price as this, but all we can do is sit tight and wait and see.
