Organize Your Home Office Day
One of my favorite resources is Chase's Calendar of Events 2008. Inside this reference are some great ideas for recognizing and celebrating a variety of days and events. We use these to learn about new ideas and to create new activities for our family. The Calendar notes that today is:
"Organize your home office day"
This day is celebrated annually the 2nd Tues in March. I didn't know about this recognition until I looked it up, but when I scanned my office area I guess there is a reason for there to be a special time set aside for putting things back into order. I've got files sliding off my desk and paper copies of e-books that are creating an interesting tower in the corner. Time to tackle the paper and rearrange my workspace so that I can be most effective when I get down to business. So, take stock of your work area. Does it need some Spring cleaning? Then take advantage of this special day and file your papers, straighten your desk, purge any unnecessary papers and get your work area back in shape. |
