For purposes of this intel, we'll assume plus size equates to size 14 and up-to 44W and beyond. The average woman is not the image portrayed in most fashion magazines or on most runways. Actually, they, (women who are roughly 5'10 and weigh 115 lbs.), make up a very small fraction of the population of women in America. The average non-plus size woman in the United states is 5'4 to 5'6, and weighs approximately 140-150 pounds. Additionally, the average plus size woman in the United States wears a size 14 and up in: petite-plus, regular plus, tall plus and extended sizes.
