Perth, Australia
Perth, Western Australia, is the capital of the largest state in Australia, and home to about 1.5 million people. It's located on the Swan River but extends over 40km north and south along the Indian Ocean coast. The original port of Fremantle is now part of greater Perth. The climate is nearly perfect a long warm summer from November to March and a mild winter when most of the (low) rainfall occurs. It doesn't get humid like Sydney or Brisbane,nor does Perth get cold like the southern States. Perth is on the same timezone as Singapore (+8GMT) and is about 5 hours flying time from Asia. Its a 4 hour fight from Melbourne or Sydney. Major airlines include Qantas, JetStar, Tiger and SkyWest
