The Philippine Peso is gaining strength against the dollar but what does it mean? They say it's economic progress but how can that be when the prices of basic commodities continue to rise and the standard of living of the poor continues to drop. The current trend just makes it harder for those earning dollars to survive. :(
Well, I guess we just have to work harder and earn more. Arrggh! It will be tough but what else can we do?
