Do you realize how precious your Reputation is? You have only one, and people have a long memory when it gets tarnished for one reason or another. It doesn't matter if it was someone lying about you or worse, you did it to yourself. It is very important to conduct yourself in both business and your personal life with integrity. If you are working something shady, it is bound to be found out and the news will spread like wild fire. It's bad news to everyone when there is a rotten apple or two found in the bunch.
I have heard all kinds of excuses and reasons why a person did what they did. Or I hear its too gray to know for sure.
How do you know if you are conducting yourself with Integrity?
It is the simplest question to ask yourself?
"How would I feel if that was done to me or said about me?"
I believe strongly in helping anyone and everyone build their network marketing business that has a high level of integrity. Smiling faces, pleasant compliments are not a sign of integrity. I don't know about you but I am not going to spend my time watching my back or checking it for a knife put there by a deceitful team member. I don't want to work around that type of environment. As a matter of fact, that's one of the reasons I do work in the MLM industry. To avoid all of the office politics and gossip.
There is one basic rule of integrity in network marketing. Your people are your people and my people are my people and you don't try to recruit or sway mine to your biz. Simple right? One would think so.
I have recently seen someone wrap up a shady way of swaying people to their group by extending a "helping hand" blanketed in a cloak of "friendship". It was done so smoothly that you wouldn't have even seen the "pitch" coming. The sad thing is that the attempt was made and there is no hiding what the intention was.
If this has happened to you, don't give up on people. If you, yourself have integrity, its a given that there are more people like you out there as well.
