If you come to Morgantown, West Virginia and are wondering what to eat, I'll give you some ideas. For Mexican food, my favorite is Los Mariachis. They are a sit down restaurant. They serve burritos, enchiladas, tacos, quesadillas, chalupas, fajitas, and more.
Another Mexican restaurant in Morgantown is Wings Ole. They are also a sit down place, but after you place your order. They have wings, tacos, burritors, enchiladas, and my favotire - french fries with blue cheese dressing for dipping.
For Italian food, a popular local place is Olive Garden. They have lots of pasta dishes and a variety of sauces, and all you can eat salad and bread sticks with your meal. They are usually quite popular and do not take reservations. So sometimes there might be a wait.
Another local Italian favorite is Oliverios. They have have the normal Italian pasta dishes, and Mediterranean ones too. They also serve salad and bread sticks. This one is especially a favorite choice for holidays and events such as wedding rehearsal dinners. They do take reservations.
For Chinese food, Peking House is a local favorite and is very popular during lunch time on weekdays. They have chow mein, lo mein, and a large variety of combinations, such as broccoli and chicken; shrimp and snow peas, etc. And they easily let you substitute tofu for the meat.
For American food, a favorite is Cracker Barrel. They have mashed potatos, corn bread, fried, baked, and roasted meats, and pancakes. And when they have it, a favorite of mine is their chocolate cobbler.
There are also the normal range of fast food restaurants also available.
If you come to Morgantown, West Virginia, bless you in enjoying your stay and in enjoying our restaurants.
