Sexy Costumes have become increasingly popular in recent years, particularly sexy costumes for ladies who may have a party night out planned or perhaps for some role play fun at home. They can be rather pricey though especially if the lady is buying a quality costume and more so if it is a purchase intended for one particular night only. That being the case, she may be better advised to try and hire a sexy costume.
We were excited to learn that one manufacturer appeared to be addressing this pricing issue by releasing a range of "Reversable Costumes". Dreamgirl Lingerie, innovators in their costume designs came up with this idea..a sexy costume that is fully reversable ie turning it inside out turns it into a different sexy costume. "What a great idea!" we thought, "two for the price of one!"
We are now a little disappointed to learn that in the July 2008 Sexy Costume launch there are only three such Reversible Costumes (or should that be six?)
These are firstly, and perhaps the best of the three Reversible Costumes, D5021 "Which Witch?"
A good witch that turns into a bad witch or from Black to White, hat too.
Second up is "Buggin' Out" (D5248) which is a reversible costume which changes between a Bumble Bee and a Lady Bug, or stipes turn to spots, if you like.
The third reversible costume is a Sexy Santa style Costume called "Twice as Fun" (D5249) where the costume changes colour (color in USA) from red to green. That's a disappointment in my view, whoever heard of a green Santa?
So 10 out of 10 for the idea but 5 out of 10 for the end results is my assessment of the reversible costumes.
Perhaps Dreamgirl are testing the water or rushed three designs out at almost the last minute. Whilst they may prove popular we hope for a larger range of revesible sexy costumes next year.
