Running Errands
Lately, I feel as though I’m constantly running errands. Things keep cropping up, from baby diapers to running low on milk. It is pretty time consuming. The list of stuff I'm short of or missing just never seems to end. If possible, I want to try to run all of my errands one or two days per week. I'll probably need a daily to-do list for household management. I know the impact of the rising fuel prices have affected everyone. That said, looking at the huge traffic jams all around the shopping centres last weekend, it doesn't seem like gas prices have affected those people. I've been going to bookstore for the past few weekends. I've to confess that this is the moment that I truly enjoyed most. My baby's still young but she seems to listen to story telling and likes looking at colorful picture books. After running all errands, I finally bought 3 picture books. My baby seems happy and I'm excited to read her those short stories as well. I'm also learning her personality more every day, and can distinguish a few different cries now. Back to the bookstore, my son was bugging me with his stationery craze. Well, I am forever saying "no, nope, maybe, I'll think about it, we'll see, it's too expensive," blah, blah, blah...BUT he had been so well behaved yesterday, so respectful, didn't talk back (too much)... ha ha. How could I insist saying "NO" again? Come to think about it, there's countless fancy stationeries to choose from these days, even I get carried away browing and I end up going "Do you need this? I like this, This looks good," or "How about this colour?" Gosh...... can't blame my kids sometimes. Well enough of my rantings for today.
