Many people steer clear of multi level marketing companies because of one disadvantage; they don’t want to be labeled as one of those persistent MLM sellers. I am in one MLM company and I am being pestered by another, which with this experience, I think will serve to make me a better MLM salesperson.
All this time, trying to find some ways to increase my household income, MLMs are the ones which offer the best compensation plans. While in an affiliate program, you have to promote it all the time, in an MLM; you are compensated when your downline makes money too. Therefore in this way, you have some free time doing what you want while earning some passive income at the same time.
Back to what happened when I am pestered by another MLM seller. This particular company sells wellness products. While selling their vitamins and such, the biggest one time commission the seller will get is from selling their water filters. So here every seller I know of theirs will speak about nothing else but their water filters.
Even though their vitamins are also working well for me, all my MLM contact wants me to buy is the water filter. She got terribly upset when I repeatedly tell her that I cannot afford it right now.
I am not surprised at her reaction because I know that she lives in a big house. The impression I got from her is that she only wants to fill up her pocket. What about my pocket? Yes I do believe that a water filter can benefit me, but if I were to spend my money on it now, I do believe that it will be a big burden for me.
How many times have you come across a truly nice salesperson? I have met some and from the good experience they gave me have really made my day.
I have always thought to myself it will be pretty good to give somebody that nice feeling. It will be a bonus if that person buys from you but if that person doesn’t, it will be a nice feeling for me too if the person leaves with a smile.
Okay I know I am being idealistic. I do have bills to pay too. But on the whole I believe that if you truly care about somebody else’s welfare, it will somehow pay for yours too.
