Sexy Designer Jeans

You can look hot in designer jeans, even if you don't have a model's body! There are several tricks that women should keep in mind when shopping and purchasing denim for sexy, great fits. First, dark wash is the most slimming. Avoid light denim and certainly anything that resembles "acid wash." Second, go for low rise, but not ultra-low rise, unless you are a teen and quite thin. Ideally, you will want the waist of your jeans to hit about 2 inches below your belly button. Don't purchase too tight to avoid "muffin top." Third, your pants should be full-length. Avoid cropped styles as they tend to make you look heavier. You may wish to purchase several pairs of jeans, hemmed at different lengths, to allow you to wear heels or flats appropriately. Finally, most people agree that the most flattering style is boot-cut or flared. It balances any extra weight at the top.

There are so many specialty jeans on the market, you can find a great deal of styles in many price ranges. Good imitations can be found at stores such as Old Navy, Forever 21, and the Gap. If you are willing to spend more than $80, you can find some wonderful options at mainstream stores like Nordstrom, which carries "Not Your Daughter's Jeans," Chip 'N Peppa, and Seven for All Mankind, among others. These range from $80-$200. Brick and mortar, as well as online boutiques have many additional brands, including Big Star, Miss Me, and AG.

Try on a few different brands and see what looks best on your body. Break away from what your friends are wearing and start a new trend. Above all else, you know what will make you feel the most sexy!
