Small Business Grant for Startup and Revitalization Firelight Business Enterprises, Inc. is starting an ongoing Small Business Startup or Revitalization Grant Program, and will be accepting applications beginning September 1, 2008, and will accept applications continuously from that point on. Grants will be awarded monthly, beginning at the end of November of 2008. The grant is a service based grant, with awards consisting of complete website build or rebuild services with a value of up to $2000, plus 1 year of hosting and site maintenance services. The grant is needs based, and awarded on a basis of merit. Because the service includes copy editing, graphic design, and high end web development services, it is suitable for almost any type of website that a small business might need, whether it be a simple brochure site, a complex multi-function Web 2.0 site, or a full featured shopping cart system. All but the most complex sites can be built within the budget that is allowed for the grant. It is a genuine business grant, no purchase required, no application fee, and no solicitation of the applicants for any purpose. It is awarded by a small company with a good reputation, whose only goal is to help worthy small businesses get over the hump to start earning successfully through a website.
