When it comes to the success of a business, especially a small business, many fail to realize there are three steps which completes the small business success process. If you are a small business owner, or plan to be one, your main goal in business is to become successful by making enough money to be financially independent of working for others.
In order to make money in a small business, you need to provide a product or service which people need, want, or desire. Your product or service can be tangible or intangible.
In order to attract potential buyers or users, the first step is to advertise in order to make them aware of your existence, and the product or service you have available or provide. Advertising is accomplished by three methods... orally, visually, and written.
The next step is to sell. Selling is simply any method or technique used to influence a potential buyer or user to pay you for your product or service based on their want, need, or desire.
The third step is market. Marketing is the work or process of moving your product or service from you to your buyer or user. If you market your product or service well enough, your buyers and users will give you repeat business, and bring others to you that have already been convinced to buy or use.
Take a third of your profits and repeat steps one, two, and three. You will easily achieve success and financial independence in your small business.
