Solar Lighting for Your Garden

Enhance your garden, patio or balcony with low cost solar lighting. There are many different styles to choose from and, as they are independent of a power supply, they are easy to install.

Types of Solar Lighting

Firefly Solar lights
These lovely lights consist of beautiful, hand blown glass globes mounted on stainless steel stakes that can be placed anywhere in the garden. They are ideal for lighting paths and flower beds and give a soft glow after charging from sunlight during the day.

Floating Solar Lighting
Floating in your pond or fountain the colored lights reflect from the water for a lovely decorative effect. Solar panels collect the energy of the sun during the day to power the lights at night. easy to set up, just float them on the water then leave!

Stepping Stones
Stepping stones glow subtly and are perfect for lighting pathways around the garden as a safety feature so that you can wander around the garden at night, as well as for decoration.

Solar Rock Lights
A warm glow emanates from these solar lights which can be placed anywhere around the garden. Edge the pathways or place a solar rock close to a favorite plant to form a decorative feature at night.

Teracotta Spheres
Ideal for placing around patios, on tables or decking these spheres give a brighter light than the previous examples. Cut outs in the sides of the sphere produce a decorative effect.

All of the solar lighting outlined above are easy to install as they are totally independent of any power supply. They all come with automatic sensors to turn them on gradually as dusk falls and they should collect enough sun's energy during the day to last for 6 or 8 hours. They are truly set and forget and will add a lovely touch to your garden at night.
