The mind drifts back into the past and revisits the countries and places where life for the peoples of the time were devasted through no fault of their own..
The same picture emerges time after time a rogue group of selfish politicians, or maybe an ethnic or religious group create mayhem through greed and dictatorial attitudes..
they instil fear into the hearts of normal good people
by incitement and clever brain washing,
People become infested with this propaganda..mainly because its spread by word of mouth backed up by deliberately planned acts of violence...the clever ones who perpetrate it are careful to keep media access to the minimum..the only news heard..must,in the minds of the listener be true?
As a professional soldier I have witnessed this so many times first hand...and I along with my comrades in arms
were faced with daily dilemas.. First was..how to gain trust, then how to impart truth and ensure that it was seen as such.
The path is slow and oft times painful and along the way
innocent people are maimed,wounded, displaced and killed.
Through it all one fact is universal..the majority want to live their lives in peace and harmony but the few,who seek selfish gain of power or wealth, will not stop their relentless campaigns of hate and fear.Every trick in the book is used by them to create a false self preservation
reaction in the minds of the masses..
Every country, conflict and situation I have ever been involved in ended up the same way..every body ended up losers exept the instigators who always leave a back door open so they escape into oblivion with amassed wealth.
My conclusion is simple enough.
The people own their country not these renegades..
Wherever you are, whoever you are remember the old adage..
UNITED YOU STAND..DIVIDED YOU FALL.
We must all learn to accept others no matter what their nationality, customs etc..we all have faults..non of us are perfect..we must learn to listen..and to see with our own eyes and ears..hearsay and assumption will only distort your own reasoning..
Be a neighbour and accept a neighbour..and together use the power of your own voices to eradicate those who seek to control you and your future..
My journey through the footpaths of life as a soldier have left me with many memories of what hate can do to fellow human beings..but equally it has shown me that peoples of the world are wonderful peoples and that to accept them trust them, earn respect and give respect leaves a world
of future hope.
Uniting as a universal brotherhood will put out the fires of hell.
