Something Called Stiffs Stiffs developed a very practical product which is actually quite simple. It feels (and looks) like a several inch wide stiff yet flexible piece of cardboard with an adhesive on one side. It is placed on the inside bottom of a ladies pant leg to keep them from being stepped on by heels of backless shoes whether they are sandals, sling pumps, stilettos or mules. The result is a polished stiff hem. This product can be found at many ladies boutiques and shoe stores. I've tried them and it did take getting used to having the Stiffs in place but it also meant that I was able to wear the slacks several more times than I would have been able to previously. My crumpled pant hems are a thing of the past with this 2007 product.
