Submitting Your Articles to Directories By now, if you are an article marketer or just some one trying to promote their blog, you probably have written a few articles and submitted them to some article directories.
There are a few rules that differ at each on but by enlarge they follow mostly similar practices.
Here are a few points to check over your submissions.
Length
Some article directories allow as small an article as 300 words, but you'll probably find that the big guns won't allow anything under 450.
Remember that a longer article allows you to place a few more long tail keywords in so it is beneficial for all.
Punctuation
Most are not sticklers for exact punctuation as they know that writing is quite organic and some rules are bent by writers for " Intonation" and Emphasis. But please try to correct spelling. Remember that your overall grammatical abilities may speak volumes about your level of care and integrity.
Out Bound Links
If you really want to get a refusal then perhaps you could consider spamming your article with a myriad of links.
Most directories will allow 1-2 links (but some allow none) and you will usually always get one link in your author bio box.
Common Sense
Read the rules and play fair, but most of all don't get disheartened or even worse - angry, just because you miss a vital piece of stipulation.
