By Bruce Clement
Suzanne Lynch (Nee Donaldson) is a New Zealand singer who has worked professionally under the names Suzanne Donaldson, Suzanne Lynch and Suzanne. Suzanne's been appearing on our TVs since she was a 14 year old appearing with her sister Judy as the duo The Chicks on the 1960s NZBC television series C'MON. In 1969 she became a solo performer and worked on the follow-up show Happen Inn. After marrying fellow entertainer Bruce Lynch in the mid 70s she moved to London, England where she worked as a session musician until she became a regular part of Cat Stevens' vocal group and appeared on several of his albums until he gave up recording after a religious conversion. Lynch was last seen on television as a backing singer in the 2008 series of Stars in Their Eyes. She is still working as a vocal artist in the music industry.
