Switching Energy Suppliers in the UK

The article below [altered significantly] is a small part of the switching energy suppliers page on Best UK Electrical Appliances... you'll find links to the pages below.

Government pays lip service on green issues - the 'best' way it knows is to add some extra tax - but does not do anything which could not only help keep down the country's CO2 output but also help each and every individual in the country save money... give generous aid to those wishing to add solar panels and small personal wind turbines, and also stop planners interfering in these matters.

Our 'Energy Saving' page should give you a few useful tips, but this is another thought altogether... SWITCHING energy suppliers... [plus other providers] it's easy to do in the UK, sorry, I don't know what applies elsewhere!

Switching energy suppliers, if handled as a regular 'to do' job... [don't forget to check that any data you rely on is EnergyWatch accredited] can save an appreciable amount of money each year.

The average household could save £140 off their energy bills if they changed supplier and with costs going up and up at an astronomical rate now.... NOW must be a good time to sit down and get your head around how best to save.

If you elect to pay by direct debit... then you need to keep a strict watch on the direct debits, cancelling and checking with your bank, at the appropriate times.

But, surely, it is well worth it for the saving... especially bearing in mind that it is money that you have already paid income tax on, and remember the VAT too.

You can check whether you can get a better deal if you buy your electricity and gas separately, or as a dual fuel deal at the website I recommend on the switching-energy-suppliers page on my website.
