The "Garden Route" is the coastline in the Eastern Cape in South Africa between Tsitsikama and Mosselbay. Popular places to visit is: Stormsriver National Park - A beautiful unspoiled bit of coastline. It offers hiking trails, accomodation, scuba diving and boat trips.
Nature's Valley - Awesome coastal village, the perfect holiday hideaway! Camping, long walks in the unspoiled natural forest and sea and river at your disposal.
Bloukrans Bridge - Famous as one of the highest Bungie Jumping sites in the world!
Plettenberg Bay - Luxury holidaying in one of the favourite spots in South Africa. Offer everything from beach and sun to fine wine, dine and shopping!
Knysna - Hub for culture, arts and crafts. Situated on a huge natural lake this town is the "centre" of the garden route.
Wildernis - Best of both worlds (Mountain on the one side and the ocean on the other)
George - The biggest town in the garden route offering beautiful views of the Outeniqwa Mountains. Connecting flights from Johannesburg International airport arrive regularly and its a great place to base your tour of the garden route
Mosselbay - Beautiful beaches for the sun seekers! Good restaurants and nightlife makes this town very popular under the younger generation.
