SkateSports Managing Director, "Hanson" is confident that interest in ice, roller, inline and even skateboarding equipment will attract a good sales, "Lets face it, most Singaporeans enjoy sports especially when they can have fun with the family and friends whilst getting a bit of excercise too! Most people who have tried ice skating would also be interested in roller skating, inline skating, or would have buzzed around on a skate scooter before and SkateSports is a one stop shop for all skating sports". In Kallang Leisure Park however, SkateSports will concentrate on sales of inline skates, skateboards, scooters, apparels and promotion of their various learn-2-skate programmes. "Our friend, Kenny (Ice Edge), is our neighbour and sells ice skates so we will focus on selling anything on wheels and setting up skating classes along the Kallang Harbour. Families can buy all their skates and gears from SkateSports, attend some fun, interactive classes then come back inside for some food at any one of the many F&B outlets. After that, they could even go ice skating up stairs, wow, what a great day out!" says Hanson.
