Traffic Generation - Email Advertising Here is part thirteen in a series about how to drive traffic to your site. In this thirteenth part, let’s talk about using email advertising to help drive traffic to your site. I am sure you have seen the ads: 75 million emails for $29.95! Oh, ok…well, sure, give me 10 of them. Come on! There are tons of places that are willing to just take your money for garbage emails. Instead, I suggest that you look into using solo email ads. There are a few places you can look that I have seen mentioned by other marketers – for example: Ezines-R-Us and JPR Advertising. You can also ask on the various marketing boards if anyone has any suggestions about who to use in your email campaigns. Just like other methods, solo ads should be used to help direct traffic to your site, instead of trying to actually sell in the ad. Offering a freebie in exchange for a name and email can be effective. Good luck!
